AT THEIR BEST IN MARCH

In March, the direct rays of the sun are working their way northward; each day in the northern hemisphere is longer than the previous one, and (on the average) gets more solar radiation.  The northern fringe of the Tropics and the southern fringe of the northern Sub-Tropics will be getting some of their nicest weather.  The Caribbean Islands, as a whole, are probably at their very best, as is most of Mexico.

Some of these places will have just a touch nicer weather in February or April, and may be featured in those months.  As a rule of thumb, you can usually assume that if a place is at its best in a particular month, then the months on either side of the featured month will have pretty good weather too.
