AT THEIR BEST IN OCTOBER

 

THE REST OF THE WORLD

 

 

            Although October is a delightful month in most of the southern United States, it is anything but delightful for most of the rest of the world.  For Europe, it is usually the rainiest month of the year, cloudy, and raw.  For most of the world, it is a month of transition, with few places being at their best.  Here are a few that are fairly nice.
